Sounds to me like a slow fluid leak has finally reduced the amount of
fluid in the master cylinder to the point that the master cylinder is
empty and is now pumping air into the lines instead of fluid. Start by
checking master cylinder fluid level. If it is normal, I'm wrong. If
very low to non-existant, fill it up, bleed the air from the system and
start pulling drums until you find the leaking wheel cylinder.

Subject: [oletrucks] Brake Problem
Need some help on a brake problem. While driving my '47 this week, I
noticed the brakes have suddenly gotten very "spongy" and are VERY slow to
stop the truck. I have to mash them very hard to get the truck to slow
down. They still work, just don't stop nearly as well as before. Any idea
what the problem is??? TIA
