Cathie,
Before I worked for Jim Carters I have 20 years in the automotive upholstery
field and still do some upholstery at home. When doing interiors of street
rods I used a sound deadener that came in self adhesive sheets about 18
inches square. There were several sheets in each box. I can't remember what
it is called but they are made of a tar paper like material . I got them at a
local parts store . Sorry I cant be of more help but maybe that will give you
someplace to start.
As far as body work and paint goes I'm looking for the same advise. I am
lost when it comes to that department.
