Paul:
I had to answer this one the other day, so just cut the copy.
First disconnect the steel line from the female fitting on the slave
hose. This requires (I think) a 7/16" wrench, preferably a special
brake line wrench, which is just a ring spanner with a chunk cut out of
it so there is less chance of rounding the fitting. This line is
usually not extremely tight and you should have enough room to swing the
wrench at an angle. Once the steel line is undone, it can be swung
slightly to the side allowing easier access to the large nut holding the
slave hose to the body. This tends to be really tight but you can now
reach it with a socket on a long extension from above.
Sorry, I didn't have a chance to grab a line to measure the end fitting.
It is usually pretty well held captive by the spring steel clip. The
7/8" nut should not be too tight, so long as it hasn't been DPOed.
Since you are deep sixing the clutch hose this is a good time to break
out the vice grips and grab as much of the steel fitting on the back
side of the hose as you can reach. It makes it easier for a one person
demolition.
Good luck.
Kelvin.

Subject: More clutch hydraulic help
Okay, I've decided to just replace everything and take my time this time
and bleed correctly, etc. But I already ran into another snag!
How do I get the clutch hose off? It comes off the slave easy enough,
but how can I get a wrench onto the huge 7/8" nut that holds it onto the
chassis? A normal 7/8" wrench is pretty long, and it hits either the
a-arm or the oil pan or the castle rail... I can't get at the nut no
matter which way I go at it.
