Is your tach working ? It's been a while since this happened to mine, 
but IIRC the same fuse drives both, and it can look good but be sitting 
in a corroded/loose clip in the fuse box. If so, a couple of minutes 
with a wire brush and a pair of pliers to tighten the clip should sort 
you out (it worked for me...)
