Have you removed the ring gear from the flywheel, JP?. I'm not sure how much of an advantage you'll get from machining the flywheel. Since there is plenty of surface area to the clutch disc, you may be asking for trouble.with balancing etc. I would replace the ring gear (they are usually shrink fit on the flywheel) and put it back together Bob Stahlbush, pres., British Motorcars of N.E.
