I pulled the MGB's engine and transmission tonight with the help of my brother. I ended up attaching a bracket to the rear exhaust bolt and wrapping a strap around the front of the cylinder head near the filler neck. It went really well! I'm very surprised at how easy it was, we were anticipating a much more difficult job. Thanks to all on the list who replied to my post about this subject!!! Now on to my next question.... Is there anything special to keep in mind when having a flywheel machined? There are two groves in mine due to the rivets on the clutch disk. Their not very deep but i would like to get them out of there before it all goes back together. Thanks again yall Jp Plank 1977 MGB "rest free" ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
