will not start

OK Guys where do I go first----------------my project '71 B has been running 
fine-------Last weekend I decided to degrease the engine and under the 
hood------------Used degreaser and a hose---------once finished I started the 
car and let it run until dry  I also drove around the block----Parked in the 
garage until this past saturday----wont start-------lights are 
bright-------turn the key and "click" started does not engage------light do 
not dim---------------where do I go first---------thanks in advance  Apple
