Turn signal, horn, headlight dimmer switch

In a blazing act of stupidity I took the metal mounting plate off the turn 
signal, horn, headlight dimmer switch and out dropped a small spring, a 
ball bearing, and a little plastic nub...............Does anyone know of 
someone who knows how to put them back?    I have tried but cannot seem to 
get it correct!
