Mark,

The speakers are mounted up under the dash in a wood  box.  One on each side. 
The CD player is mounted in a wood box behind the dash.  I have a kenwoood 
with a pop off faceplate.  When I go to a show I can pop off the faceplate 
and then put the MG plate back in place.  I have no antenna so the AM does 
not work well, but the FM and CD are great.
