Don't know if this story is true or not, but here goes:
Somne years back, a guy was driving his MG cross country and somehow or
another lost a couple of lug nuts.
He went into a small town auto parts place and asked for some nuts. The clerk
said that they didn't stock foreign car parts. The guy said they were a
standard size. The clerk repeated himself, we dn't stock foreign car parts.
They went back and forth. Finally the guy convinced the clerk to try some
nuts and lo and behold they fit.
The guy asked how much. The clerk said $5.00 each. The guy said why were
they so expensive. The clerk replied: "they're foreign car parts."
