Hi Jesse,
( Q.) does anyone else have any idea that would help push the car from an
alley, across the street, into another alley and into a garage--4 turns
total--until I can either find my ignition key or get a new one.
( A.)Yes! Get a hydraulic floor jack. Push the car in whatever direction you
want it to go. Then, when you have to make a turn, Jack the cars front end
up, and use the floor jack as a dolly to turn the car in the direction you
need it turned. Then, lower the jack and move it out of the way. Push the car
in the new direction. repeat process used to turn the car with the floor
jack. Eventually you'll get to where you need your car to be. Then call a
Lock smith and for about $20.00 bucks they'll drive their van over to where
you are at and cut you a new key..Get 2 0r 3 if you are anything like me and
tend to "missplace" everything. Including my car keys. So I always have a
couple of extras that I can use. (If I can just remember where I put them for
safe keeping, darn it!)
