Mike:
It MAY be carburation because cylinders 1 & 2 are fed by the same
carb. Have you pulled off the float cover and verified there's
gas in the chamber?
What was done on the car prior to loosing the power on cylinders
one and two?
Have you switched ignintion leads? Firing order is 1,3,4,2
counter clockwise on the distributor. You could have one and two
switched at the distributor.
Set the engine TDC on compression of cylinder one, pull the
distibutor cap and verify that the rotor is lined up with the
terminal for the number one ignition wire.
