Drilling holes in the sill and then covering with rubber grommets?
LBC no LBC experience still sounds like amateur hour to me.
I have personally experienced large panel buckling from sanding
and warpage from sandblasting. It happens insidiously quickly -
(maybe not on plastic cars)
Chemical dipping OK for seamless panels and chemical stripping by
hand for the rest (incl body). Then sandblasting to finish off
corners, gussets etc.
My A-1 concours body man even tapes off the large panels to keep
the blasters from doing inadvertent damage.
