If your car is a negative ground and the "capacitor" is connected to the positive terminal, that may be a cause of the problem. If you think this is a capacitor, then just disconnect it from the pump. The only thing that will happen is you might get static on the radio if it is fitted. The capacitors, I am familiar with, are small round cans, so this is new to me. Blake |
