Last time consenus of the list seemed to be pull the engine then the trans. I
have always removed them together and have had no problems as long as
everything necessary has been diconnected or removed (i.e. trans dipstick,
slave cylinder line Transmission mounting bolt etc.)and car is aligned well
with puller. Helpful to place a 2x4 etc near the back of the transmission to
keep it from dropping too far too soon, and the back end of the trans will
need some manuevering to make this removal work well. so when it appears
you're running out of room at the front or something is binding, go wiggle the
transmission.
