Why did I yank my OK SU's in favor of a weber? Sometimes, I ask myself that
question. The SU's were recently rebuilt by the PO, and the weber was in very
good
shape. It seemed to me, after I got my weber straightened out, that I had more
low-end power with the weber. Of course, I didn't run the car further than
around
the block, but I could notice the difference. I also carefully removed the
smog
equipment and placed it in a box, awaiting it's return. Why would I want to
put the
SU's back on? For originality. However, I'm quite happy with the DGV, and
will
probably use it for at least the next two or three years. I have heard that a
weber
offers better gas mileage compared to the SU's. Can anyone comment on that?
