Actually, anotther real advantage is that silicone brake fluid is not
hygroscopic i.e. does not absorb moisture (water) out of the air. Ever
found rust in your wheel cylinders? Ever had wheel cylinders seize up
because the aluminum cylinder and the steel piston corroded together?
That's due to the presence of water in the brake fluid. Use silicone
fluid and you'll never have this problem again.
