Steve: Ditto what Ross said, plus: The starter motor will tend to magnetise anything in contact with it, from time to time, and sometimes the bendix gets 'stuck' by being so charged. Usually rocking it a bit gets the field to drop and you're back on your way. Liberal lubrication will also solve this occasional problem. Corey 75 MGB 'Rags' RD#373750 |
