car runs on one cylinder

To give further info on the dash it says ignition I refer it to an
ignition light sorry if this caused confusion. This may not be going off
due to low engine speed .yes it runs on one cylinder only if you
disconnect leads from cylinders 1,2,3 it has no effect on motor as soon as
you lift the wire fron #4 the engine dies.I think it may be a distributer
cap problem but it will take me 2 to 7 days to get one.
