Regarding Ray's questions on pollution control equipment:

I don't want speculate on what Vermont's future smog laws might be, but I
suggest you keep an eye on those bills and complain like heck to your rep.

As stated by others, the 72 B with a 68 engine would have 72 standards
applied. If equipment is missing there is no mercy as John stated.

I know that air pumps from Datsuns do fit (the Hitachi pump mentioned [but
cheaper than Todd mentions]). Lucas air pumps are Rebuild and Return only,
so I would say that if you don't have a core, you are in trouble. This would
be a good time to talk to The Roadster Factory (or others) and ask them about
re-creating emissions equip from original plans - - supply and demand.

Ray, buy the car then start to look for equipment piece by piece. You are
probably more attuned to the emissions question and can find some less
enlightened B owner wants to get rid of his smog equipment.
