Pos versus Neg Grounds

Has anyone, in all of this discussion, ever considered purchasing a radio 
which has a jumper which allows for polarity reversal?

They may not be available at the local drugstore, but I remember seeing them 
a few years ago. They had a jumper plug on the back which allowed the radio 
to be installed in either a negative or positive ground car. I'm sure I 
could find one at my local foreign car junkyard. They must still be out 
there.
