two questions for "the list" today
1) anyone here completed a chrome bumper V8 conversion using the
original crossmember and steering linkage....modifying by way of the
extra steering link and
double u-joints? would like some specific info on this method if
available.
2) 1979 B with original engine etc.......the temp. sensing bulb for the
fan motors which is mounted in the top of the radiator has no clip to
hold it in as do the earlier models. having problems with this bulb
popping out once the coolant temp comes up to normal level. have
changed the rubber grommet but still experiencing the problem. tried
teflon tape on the bulb which worked for a while but now back to the
same situation. any suggestions to solve this one?
