If I am reading your diagram correctly, that works. The wire to the
third brake light has to be connected to the green/purple wire before it
goes into the turn signal relay. The easiest place for the at happen is
at the brake light switch (or the relay if one is installed). Wiring
the third brake light to one of the junctions at either the left or
right tail light on a car with turn signals will cause the third brake
light to flash with whenever the turn signal is activated for that
side. This was something that was often seen when the third brake
lights first came out and people tried to wire one in by just going to
one of the tail lights. That can only be done where the bulb for the
turn signal and the one for the brake lights are separate bulbs as they
are in most modern cars.
