If you're talking about the hood and not the frames, it is possible it is original. Clausager's book says, "The hood and sidescrens were made from twill or single duck, black on pre-war cars, and usually fawn on the TC." The material then is the clue. My TD came with a very old appearing top which I thought might have been original, but it wasn't the correct material. Blake |
