The banjo has two different faces. One side is dished, the other is flat. Be
sure the dished side faces outward (toward the banjo bolt and away from the
carb. If that doesn't do it, check for cracks. If it's still OK, there is
some damage somehere, so any fix that works and makes you fell OK is fine.

Subject: TD Carburetor Leak
Both of the banjo fittings are leaking on my TD after a carburetor rebuild.
The proper fiber washers are installed and the banjo bolts are well
tightened. Is there a fix for this? Would a very thin coating of Permatex #2
on the washers be beneficial?
