Has anyone noticed that NASCAR engines use 0W-30?
For qualifying yes but not in an "open" motor, they do run thin oil in
restricted engines.
Does anyone (Dave?) knows what is used in IRL and CART engines?
You will find the Honda IRL engine uses a oil that is not to far from whats
used in NASCAR, but it sure does stink!
Don't go looking for mph in you oil, you need to make it up & down the
course a time or two. It's not always the guy with the most hp that gets the
record... but it is always the guy who makes two ways over the record. Kinda
like
"to finish first, first you must finish."
