Gee, I think I'll sell my dyno.
How can all this cost saving effort be less expensive than just going to a  
dyno? Your not going to be testing everyday, as soon as you get your  baseline 
package your not going to make huge leaps in power with any small  
improvements to your engine package. Your speeds or timeslip will verify any  
change good 
or bad. Just go to the dyno! 
There's a reason no one is building a low cost torque converter dyno. 
As for the engineering exercise... go for it.
