That would take some time. The bottom line is that those road surface charts
showing tire rolling resistance on various surfaces don't include hard salt.
I'd find it interesting-- but not enough to create a research fellowship--
to know how much of that rolling resistance is due to the salt itself-- this
would seem to be an irreducible minimum that might be achievable only by
solid metal wheels.
