OK after 10 years of installing and uninstalling my wheel covers with 6
#10 or #12 screws, I forget which right now, there are not enough threads
to hold the screws. So, I have to add Dzus fittings. and I've read here
about a "cutaway" disc that is used for installing the weldon tabs, but for
the life of me I can't, A) find the article, B) think of how to do it. so
am asking ........
what does the wheel disc look like that is used to position the weldon
tabs on the wheel? I assume a cutaway disc with holes looking like the
radiation signs, (with the three triangles pointing towards the center,)
three holes for the Dzus fittings holding the weldon tabs, some duct tape,
and a MIG welder to tag the tabs to the wheel. Do I got it right? am I even
close?
thanks drive careful
