yep, I have instructed Miss Linda, keeper of the Exchequer and my pit crew
for the last 34 years, that the four drawer legal size file cabinet in the
garage is worth big bucks so don't give it away when she disposes of my
estate. All the Street Rodders from the 70s and 80s into the 90s when I
decided all I was buying was ads. Many old Hot Rods, Rod Actions, etc. Did
give away all my Street Scenes though to make room for more valuable paper.
Now that I am retired I don't buy the new magazines, except for the $1 an
issue Rod and Custom deal!, just started at the back of the file cabinet and
working my way forward month by month. You are right, Tom, amazing what is
in there. Lot of good things happening before billet and unobtanium came to
be.
