Hi Ed, I have a question that I'm trying to answer. Maybe you know.......on a '64 or '65 'Vette 327 engine. Does it use a crankshaft that has a different flywheel location (about 3/4" forward) than the rest of the small block cranks? The trans guy that does the trans work on my 'liner has a customer that put a 700 R4 auto behind a 64-65 'Vette 327 and the input shaft is tearing the first 1/4"or so of the splines out of the converter. Have you heard of this? And......how to fix it? Change the crank? Thanks for any help/ideas, Skip H |
