AMEN!!!!!!!! From my perspective (vintage engine and vintage body)
the playing field is pretty much level. I had a long chat recenttly with
fellow SCTA Super Fours President and hopefully the SCTA VP in 2000 Roy
Creel. Roy is the only Vintage Four guy in both the Bonneville and El Mirage
Two Clubs.
The atmosphere of the present SCTA Board regards changes seems to be
"if it ain't broke, don't fix it". The impression I got was that they feel
that, safety issues notwithstanding, what one person / group is wanting to
change may be at the expense or to the disadvantage of another person /
group, so be very careful what gets changed....................Ardun Doug
