Hey Dave I remember you... good to see you back....
I pick E. all of the above....
Who knows why we race... for some it's the Points thing...(yep I cased it..
Nope I won't chase it again) mostly it's about building and driving a car
over two hundred and setting a record on the salt... all my Hero's did....
And I want to be Part of that group.... small collection of folks and the
only folks who appreciate the effort are the folks that have been there....
(don't mean that ugly... I am serious.. Hell no one else cares...)
It's about the respect of your peers to me...there damn sure ain't no money
in it... it's about the opportunity to say.... Yeah I race at Bonneville..
(ego deal there for me anyway) and it's about Brain Power put to an
effort that Nets a NATIONAL RECORD... not hanging out Drag racing and
winning the Points championship for the Dixie Pro Stocks.....(never heard
of them... See what I mean).... That is what it is to me.... if I get my
car to set a record... well then I have the Fastest damn whatever that has
ever driven the salt...
Lots said there..... Keith
