I personally do it just because I love working on
old cars, hanging around with guys who relate to
the cars that I do (rods of the 50s)and I like
going fast, listening to open pipes, and smelling
racing fuel. I used to drag, but then they came
up with this stupid "index" and there's no effort
to go fast any more, just to get close to some
pre-determined target time. I like keeping in on
the floor!
