mayf- just a tip to reduce the serenity on the land speed forum, if you
aren't already,and depending on your base metal, try using 5356 aluminum
rod, it provides a nice, juicy wet puddle and provides killer looking
welds, and like you noticed, crank up the heat, aluminum is very thermally
conductive, and with AC , half your heat is going into the tungsten already
