I'm with Tom, my car handled the best its ever handled with 500 lbs of
ballest, 250 of which was added to the front axle, and 250 to the rockers.
That put us up to a 3600 lb car. Yeah a lighter car would actually go
faster, but if its not handling??? When the car handles better, your more
comfortable, and you can drive it faster. We ran a 231 MPH in this
configuration. The best it ever ran before was 220 MPH. If the car is
squirrely I don't care how much traction or HP you've got you ain't gona
drive it fast and stay upright.
