Al
I used a POR-15 kit on an XJ6 tank 10 or 15 years ago. I really liked the re=
sults.=20
The kit came with the cleaner, etcher, an epoxy (?) liner fluid, and came wi=
th great instructions. It lays down a nice layer of epoxy in the tank.=20
I had a rad shop do a brand new XK-120 tank a few years ago, and must admit I=
didn=E2=80=99t like the results as much. The lining material was much thinn=
er and I was concerned it would flake off - but have had no problems with it=
. I don=E2=80=99t think this method would fix small pinholes whereas I think=
the thicker epoxy of the POR-15 kit would.=20
