Richard
Buy the panel board from a supplier like:
https://www.perfectfit.com/15347/Chipboard-Car-Panelboard.html
The stuff is made exactly for this purpose. Easy to cut , shape, glue, ins=
tall and it lasts. If the door card needs to be a little stiffer in places,=
say around the door pocket opening on a 100 or early 6 cylinder cars, you =
just glue another strip of the card panelboard to the back side before cove=
ring with your vinyl / leather.=20
If you build the panels out of material that is to thick it can ruin your d=
ay when the doors don=E2=80=99t shut easily anymore.

Subject: [Healeys] Door card material
I'm getting ready to make new door cards and trim my doors. My research has=
found that people use everything including ABS plastic, foam board, masoni=
te and plywood. I'm leaning towards Baltic Birch plywood at this point but =
I would like the infinite wisdom of this list before I go down that, or any=
other, road.
