Mine did this recently. I removed the lever and it was the tipof the pawl h=
ad worn. I welded and reshaped the tip. The nut on the end of thelever can =
be accessed from below so no deed to remove tunnel.

I have a isdue with my e-brake. The little bit that is supposed to rotste a=
nd lock into the detents doesnot do so. No clicks as I pull up on the handl=
e. Is thos something I canaddress without removing the tunnel. Either way, =
