Mine did this recently. I removed the lever and it was the tip of the =
pawl had worn. I welded and reshaped the tip. The nut on the end of the =
lever can be accessed from below so no deed to remove tunnel.

I have a isdue with my e- brake. The little bit that is supposed to =
rotste and lock into the detents does not do so. No clicks as I pull up =
on the handle. Is thos something I can address without removing the =
tunnel. Either way, how is this fixed?

If you need extra length in the cable you can probably obtain it by this =
method.
