Quality cost money=2C it is as simple as that. You want to buy at a price p=
oint=2C then you select Moss=2C they are on par with Wal-Mart as far as I a=
m concerned. Here is a place in the UK that sells quality cap rotors and co=
ntact breakers:
Distributor Doctor=2C www.distributordoctor.com or email :martin@distributo=
rdoctor.com.=20
I am quite certain that Jeff at Advance Distributors can also point you in =
the right direction=2C British Car Specialists is another place that would =
handle quality stuff as well as Autofarm in Canada.=20

Jumping in =85 I have this exact problem on my Longbridge 100~six. Does any=
one have a source for a decent distributor cap? Can you even get Lucas? I b=
ought a few from Moss and they were rubbish (for various reasons - some the=
 plastic was too thin & cracked=2C others the screws were crossed threaded =
etc.)
I would love to know of a better source? (I am using bumble bee HTL)
Thanks=2CRohan (Aussie)

=2C you can have huge problems=2C as the graphite type materials they use i=

u need to use metal core wires=2C such as bumble bee wire.
Also did you check distributor shaft wobble? If your dizzy bushes are worn=
=2C and you have excessive wobble=2C you could also be having similar probl=
ems.
Lastly=2C check internal wires/insulating washers in the dizzy make sure it=
 is all kosher.

I=92m waiting for the plug wires and distributor cap from Moss Motors to sh=
