Sorry...missed the responses from a few weeks ago, but before you pull the
head you should squirt some oil in #3 and #4 cylinders and recheck the
compression. That might tell you if it could be rings or valves (or both or
other).

was in here a few weeks ago on this ("blown head gasket") and got great
suggestions. Have tried most all of them.ignition, fuel delivery, timing, etc.
On a whim I tested the compression. 132, 128, 24 and 22. so 3 and 4 have
suffered some With the cover off, the valve train appears to be ok. Also
checked torque (cold) all ok. I'm hoping (now) for the gasket to be actually
blown. Any ideas?
