A number of people have suggested the coil. The car has had 3 coils, 2 fuel
pumps and 2 condensers on it and the problem remains the same.
Thanks anyway. The plugs are OK and cap, rotor and wires are new and seem to
be OK.
Next week we're going to put it in the shop with ignition and exhaust
instruments.
One thing I overlooked to mention is it has a sticking high idle of 2k plus
rpms when it gets hot, too. This seems to be a sticking butterfly as the
linkage seems to be OK.
Personally, I don't see how that could cause it to have the intermittent
miss.
