at one time in the DFW area, we used to have the luxury of having an old time
california hot-rodder named EDDIE MILLER, JR. as our north tx ah club technical
director. Eddie was a master metal craftsman whose small torch could stand up
and sing "DIXIE". he was one of those rare individuals whom if he didn't have
the required tool for a particular application, he made the tool. he firmly
believed if you did not have to cut the wire on the fender wheel well opening,
do not do so just to use a dogleg repair panel. cut out the cancerous portion
of the dogleg and butt-weld in the necessary repair panel. he did all of his
repairs with oxy/acet whether steel or aluminum.
