We have a member of our local British Sports Car Club who has a 1971 MGB with 
an automatic transmission. She wears a prosthetic leg device because of a 
child hood injury and was able to special order this car. I had never heard of 
an 
automatic MGB before. Was this really a factory option or some aftermarket 
conversion?
