The Healey 6 cylinder engine was used in various Austin and Wolseley
saloons. These were often fitted with Borg Warner automatic transmissions,
which are the same as some Fords I believe.
Shouldn't be too hard to make one of those work.

I once got a early 3000 block with a Ford cast iron automatic (C4 I think)
bolted to it. I threw it all out, but it can be done.
