Peter -

Every healey specialist I've talked to reccommended
using a steel head gasket (i.e. Le mans kit / racing
gasket) when using the an aluminum head.  These are
the head gaskets that apparently you can re use up to
three times.  The leaking is a very common problem
with the Ali head.
