Don -
Turn the engine on and check around where the pipes
and mufflers slot together with your hand or ear about
and inch away from the pipe. If there is a leak
you'll be able to feel the rushing air out of the leak
or the sound of leaking air (kinda wheezy sound).
If you have a cigarette you can blow smoke over the
joints and that should make it easier to spot too.
