Steve -

Sounds like to me you have no oil, or the wrong type
of oil in the dashpot pistons on your carburators. 
Pre-firing on accelleration is almost always caused by
this.  Also make sure your carburator mixture is
adjusted correctly (yours may be a little too lean).
