Now that powder coating has become readily available, and reasonably cheap=

I was about to answer the same=C2=A0: Dupont (now Cromax) Imron 700 is a 2k=
polyurethane paint, HD stuff very durable, made for industrial use. I use =
it all the time for suspension parts, brackets, etc.
But you need to spray it and know what you are doing, it is indeed very tox=
ic, and cannot be brushed.=20
Use the TDS and prime correctly (epoxy is a good recommendation, such as Cr=
omax 840/845, but not too thick, again check the TDS and use correctly with=
the correct equipment).
Otherwise get it simply powdercoated (in a lighter coulour to easily see cr=
acks, and leaks from components)

me on my race car with Dupont Imron.=C2=A0 It was the most durable paint av=
ailable at the time, and my experience reflected that.=C2=A0 The stuff is v=
ery toxic, so you must use a very good respirator.
